THE MISSION
We are Arab Christians living in Israel, called to proclaim that Jesus the Messiah is the God of Israel and the peace of all nations. Through worship music in Arabic, Hebrew and English, we stand with Jewish and Arab believers together and carry that message to the world.
Our Story
Nizar and Rana Francis are Arab believers from Haifa, Israel. Nizar grew up Catholic and came to faith in Jesus the Messiah in 2005. Rana was born into a Muslim family and came to the same faith the same year, through a completely separate journey. Neither of them was looking for a ministry. They were simply two people whose lives were interrupted by the same Lord.
Nizar had built a real career as a well-known singer in Israel. In 2014 he walked away from it. Not because it was failing, but because he understood that his voice belonged to something more than a stage. Rana had practiced law for five years before she set that aside too, to raise their four children, Fadi, Rawad, Julie and Yonatan, and to stand with Nizar in the work the Lord had placed before them.
That work became OOR Ministry. Two people from backgrounds that should have kept them far from the Gospel, now proclaiming it together from the city where they live, in the language of their people, to a region that desperately needs to hear it.
Why This Work Matters
The Jewish people, to whom the promises belong, remain largely unreached by the Gospel in their own land. Across the Arab world, hundreds of millions have never heard it in their own language. The conflict between Jews and Arabs is ancient, deep, and has no political solution. Every negotiation, every ceasefire, every peace agreement has proven this. And yet in Haifa, Arab and Jewish believers are worshiping together in Arabic and Hebrew, declaring that Jesus the Messiah is the only peace that holds.
Nizar and Rana are not observers of this conflict. They are Arabs living inside it, with family on all sides and a community that knows exactly what division costs. After October 7th, that calling did not weaken. It sharpened. Their calling is not comfortable or theoretical. It is lived daily as Arab Christians in a Jewish state, in the middle of a conflict the whole world is watching and nobody has solved.
The worship music Nizar produces in Arabic reaches hundreds of thousands of Arabs across the Middle East who have never heard the Gospel in their own language and musical voice. Many of them live in countries where a Bible cannot be openly carried. Music crosses every border that a missionary cannot.
This work matters because peace between Jews and Arabs will not come from politics. It never has. It will come from the Gospel, proclaimed by people who have paid the price to believe it in the place where it is hardest to believe. That is what OOR Ministry is.
