We are dedicated to proclaim the Gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ to all nations, using worship and biblical teaching to touch hearts and build bridges among believers from all backgrounds and especially between Jewish and Arab believers.
Our Story
Nizar and Rana Francis are Christian Arabs from Haifa, Israel, and the founders of OOR Ministry.
Nizar Francis comes from a Catholic background and came to know the Lord in 2005. He was a well known singer in Israel, and in 2014 he devoted his life fully to serving Jesus. The Lord's call on his life is to praise Him through worship and to be a bridge between Jews and Arabs, declaring that true peace is found only in Jesus Christ. Nizar holds a bachelor's degree in Theology from the Israel College of the Bible. Today he serves full time through OOR Ministry as a worship leader, writing and producing worship music in Arabic and other languages.
Rana Francis was born to a Muslim family in Israel. Her life changed when she accepted and followed the Lord in 2005. After working as a lawyer for five years, she left her career to become a full-time mother, raising their four children, Fadi, Rawad, Julie, and Yonatan, who are all musically gifted.
Why This Work Matters
A central part of our vision is unity in the body of Christ, especially between Jewish and Arab believers. This is why we create worship music in Hebrew, Arabic, and English: to reflect that unity in sound and in spirit.
As we walk in this calling, the Lord has placed a deep responsibility on our hearts to proclaim the true message about the God of Israel to the whole world.
As Arabs living in Israel, and in light of the challenges of recent years, especially since October 7th, we feel called to share this message from a biblical perspective. We believe God has not abandoned His people, to whom the promises belong. As gentiles, we are called in these days to pray for the salvation of the Jewish people, to be a blessing to them, and to proclaim that the only way to peace is through Jesus the Messiah.
At the same time, we long to bring the truth about the God of Israel to Arab people around the world.
